“Overall the trip was good. We stayed at some so-so places, and some really great places, and got to see some wierd and wonderfull things. However, there was some wrong things. 1 - The kitty was 500 USD, not 480. 2 - We did not need camping gear, at all. Tents were only offered on 1 night, and even then was an option to get a hut for 10 USD, which is much preferable to using half your luggage and carrying sleeping bag and mat up and down the many many stairs in Himalaya for 16 days.”

“All good. Its like travelling but without having to be organised. And travelling by truck is great - its a great way to see the country without having to worry that the driver is a lunatic. You are, however, stuck with the same people for a number of weeks. I would like to suggest some way of vetting these people - there is a definite opportunity to be stuck with one or two oddballs. I appreciate the need for patience with these things, but if youre talking about months on the road then it can get very difficult.”
