“This is the trip that's some steps-up from camaraderie back-packing using a Lonely Planet or Rough Guide but way better than a coach or cruise liner! A Spanish-speaking Tucan Team Leader has all the pre-visit knowledge of the social and activity options available in a series of towns and cities in a country and who to call for on the ground local guides who especially know their way around the natural world. Mixing up local and pre-arranged transport (taxis, buses, boats), then seeing somewhere new every 2 days with a small-group of like-minded people who are guided by a Team Leader with expertise in everything from the nicest bars and restaurants for the group to what is needed for zip-lining, hikes or riverboat trips. So much in the trees and the undergrowth would be missed out on if you did not do it with on-hand expertise and experience.”
