Starting from the famous St. Mark’s Square, where you will be told the origins, the history and a brief descriptions of its prestigious monuments and historic cafes, you will discover the past of Venice thanks to an interesting guided tour!
An expert local guide will accompany you through the characteristic streets and bridges of Venice: from Piazza San Marco you will walk to Santa Maria Formosa and then to Campo Santi Giovanni and Paolo, where you will admire the homonyms church and the equestrian statue of Bartolomeo Colleoni, a majestic work by Andrea del Verrocchio.
The walking tour will let you discover where Marco Polo lived and worked in Venice, and admire the exterior of the famous Teatro Malibran, one of the city’s most historic opera houses directed for a short time by the great Carlo Goldoni.
Finally, this charming walk will take you to the main shopping street of Venice: the Mercerie. Vital connection between the Rialto area and San Marco, this poetic array of narrow streets will be the last part of the itinerary.

Please note that, due to the particular morphological structure of Venice and the logistic problems resulting from it, we cannot guarantee that the whole tour is accessible to people with limited mobility. This means that people with walking difficulties and wheelchair users could not be able to access some parts of the itinerary.
