The "Antarctica Classic" tour starts and ends in Ushuaia. The "Antarctica Classic" tour is a photography tour that takes 11 days taking you through Ushuaia, Drake Passage, Ushuaia and South Shetland Islands in Argentina and Antarctica. This is a self-guided group tour that includes accommodation, transport, meals and others.

The Antarctic Peninsula is anything but a world of white desolation. Join us on a true adventure to a world of immense scale and visual splendour. Passing huge icebergs in the flat calm of a polar morning will reshape the way you look at your world. Encounter huge whales, enormous rookeries of penguins, and stunning landscapes few have ever witnessed. This 11-day expedition will introduce you to the magic of the South Shetland Islands and the Antarctic Peninsula.

CANCELLATION

No additional cancellation fees apply for this Antarctica Classic tour. You can cancel the tour up to 125 days prior departure and avoid paying the full amount, but your deposit paid is non-refundable. No refund applies for cancellations within 124 days of departure.

Payment

For any tour departures within 13 April 2024, full payment is required. For tours that depart later than 13 April 2024, a deposit is required to confirm this tour, and the remaining balance will be charged 124 days before trip departure.

Travel Insurance

Antarctica Classic tour requires that you have adequate and valid travel insurance covering medical and personal accidents, including repatriation costs and emergency evacuation. We recommend using World Nomads' travel insurance.

Visa

For this Antarctica Classic tour getting the required visa(s) is the responsibility for each individual traveller, as visa requirements vary depending on your nationality. We recommend to check with your local embassies representing the countries that you are traveling to, as part of this itinerary.

Age Requirement

You must be 18 to travel unaccompanied on this tour. For minors travelling with a guardian over 21 years old, the minimum age is 12.
