The Local Living Mongolia—Nomadic Life tour starts and ends in Ulaanbaatar. It is a wildlife trip that takes 10 days taking you through Rashaant Sum, Gorkhi Terelj National Park and Orkhon Valley in Mongolia. Local Living Mongolia—Nomadic Life is a guided small group tour that includes accommodation in hotels, transport, meals and others.

It was from Mongolia that Ghengis Khan set forth to conquer the world. This unique adventure is your chance to return to this heartland and let its people and scenery capture your heart. Leave Ulaanbaatar and the modern world behind and stay with three different families to experience life as a nomad. From Orkhon Valley to Gorkhi Terelj National Park, you'll live in gers, take tea with your neighbours, ride horses, and learn archery and garment-making skills. It's 10 days like you never imagined.

“The whole thing has been made excellent by the staff, the CEO, and the assistant guides. Prasan is a true leader with his selection of the assistant guides, training and supporting them, tight management when needed (e.g. the delay in flights), answering questions and setting our expectations... And with his short lessons he gave at nights to the group on Nepalese and Himalayan cultures, geography, history, etc... he is an asset not only to G Adventures but Nepalese tourism industry, too.”

“It was a very humbling and interesting experience to get an insight into the lives of the hill tribe people of Northern Thailand. Noop our CEO was extremely friendly and helpful and always had a positive attitude. The tour is well-run and organised too.The trekking is not too difficult - the only challenge is the heat. As long as you are prepared for basic accommodation, you will have a great time.”
