The Cycling Indonesia's Islands trip starts in Ubud and ends in Canggu. It is a bicycle tour that takes 13 days taking you through Pemuteran, Canggu, Pulau Merah and 7 other destinations in Indonesia. Cycling Indonesia's Islands is a guided small group trip that includes accommodation, meals and others.

Active volcanoes tower over rice paddies and coffee plantations. Jungles fringe tropical beaches on the edge of coral-rich waters. Village and temples dot the landscape where age-old traditions are still followed today. This is the backdrop through which we cycle up to craters and down to fishing villages, along asphalt roads and rainforest trails. On two wheels we explore some of the quieter parts of the islands of Bali and Java uncovering a patchwork of sights, sounds and smells.

“From start to finish this trip was fantastic, we packed so much into the time we had in Japan and our tour guide Mayuko had everything so well organised the holiday ran like a dream.”

“A good split of 4 nights on Lake Garda at the comfortable and friendly Hotel Sorriso, just a few yards from the lake promenade and 3 nights at the Lungalago Hotel on Lake Como, a busier more cosmopolitan town resort. The part of Lake Garda where we stayed appeared more serene and gentle with pretty lakeside paths, family campsites, swimming areas and easy access by local buses and ferries to other parts. Hospitable pizzerias, bars and of course, gelato, gelato and more gelato. Enjoyable walks to Malcesine and cultural visit to Verona. Lecco, on Lake Como is seemed far removed from the major honey pots of Bellagio and Como so trains or buses are required to reach these areas which can be problematic when strikes prevail. The town itself was busy as schools had finished for the summer, lots of cafes and designer shops to tempt.”

“If you love wildlife (big and small) then this could be your perfect holiday. We saw a huge variety of mammals, birds and insects over the two weeks, in a range of stunning locations. The guide had an impressive knowledge of plants and animals and went that extra mile to suggest optional extras to make the holiday truly special. We visited an organic farm for lunch which was excellent (as was the sugar cane moonshine!)”
