My name is Ana and I’m from Georgia. I speak fluent English and Russian, and a bit of Spanish and Chinese. I also graduated from Caucasus University in Georgia.
I love to travel, so when I had the opportunity to participate in an exchange program to the United States, I jumped at it. Through this program, I learned a lot about cross-cultural relations, the interconnectedness of the world, and the traditions and lifestyles of people from different cultural backgrounds. When traveling, I love learning about and emerging myself in different cultures; meeting amazing people and tasting local food.
My favorite place in Georgia is Batumi. I particularly enjoy staying in the old part of the city, where most of the houses were built in the 19th century. I love that visitors to Batumi can experience a mix of old and modern architecture, sea and mountains, and, above all, the hospitality of the Adjarian people.

Ana's best travel experience
As a traveler, the most memorable experience that I can recall was seeing Gobustan mud volcanoes and Yanar Dag burning mountain in Azerbaijan. Yanar Dag is a fire mountain that burns with an "eternal flame”. Actually, it is rather a hill than a mountain, with natural gas burning on its slope from ancient times. I saw the meter-long tongues of fire licking the stratified earth, approximately 10 meters in width, searing those who approached too close. People occupied the benches to watch the blazing hill in the evening when the sight was most effective.
Why is Ana the right travel expert
I am a cheerful and enthusiastic person. I love communicating with people and designing memorable vacations for them. Above all, I am very responsible, and the safety of travelers is always my number one priority.
My message to future travelers is: No one ever said, ‘I regret going traveling.’ So, book the trip! We can’t wait to see you in the South Caucasus!
