- PADI Advanced Open Water course
- Continue your dive education on Tioman Island
The PADI Advanced Open Water Diver Course (AOW) certifies you to dive to a depth of 30meters and is the required certification level in many dive destinations.
The course includes 5 dives and can be completed in 2 days. The Deep Dive and Underwater Navigation Dive are mandatory, whereas the other 3 dives are elective. Most divers choose Peak Performance Buoyancy (which is in our opinion the most important skill a diver has to master), Wreck Diving and Night Diving as their other dives. You don’t have to decide in advance which dives you want to do and can discuss it with your instructor upon arrival.
There will be no final exam and the only homework you have to do is to read the appropriate sections in the AOW Student Manual and answer the questions at the end of each chapter.
The only prerequisites for starting the courses are that you are already a PADI Open Water Diver (or equivalent from another organization) and that you can say NO to all the medical questions in the PADI Medical Form.
