“We had a fantastic week of brilliant sunshine. We were largely off track ski ing and the area is wild and beautiful. Once off track we rarely saw another skier. We saw more animal than human tracks. We warmed up outside every morning to the amusement of the locals and then stretched in the evening before taking a sauna.”

The organisation from start to finish was smooth running; the location was perfect, providing on and off track skiing in beautiful Norwegian countryside; the accommodation was spotlessly clean and comfortable, with amazing views towards the mountain; and the food was simply delicious! In fact, we loved it so much, we're going back this year!”

“Ilse and Mary did their best as group leaders to provide our group of 24 with a great experience. However, as a complete beginner I would have preferred - as they too suggested- another leader to make the groups smaller and more homogeneous. I had signed up for this trip expressly to learn the basics and gain confidence on the skis. However I had difficulty keeping up with others and ultimately had less fun than I had hoped.”
