“If we could give this safari tour company more than five stars, we would. They helped us in creating a truly EPIC African Safari & KILIMANJARO TREKKING!! Everything exceeded our expectations. We told them our interests and priorities for the trip and our agents worked hard to make sure it was all we wanted and more. Even after a few changes with travel dates.
Our safari tour designer provided absolutely professional and first-class service. Every booking and guide, porters, driver and staff person we met were exemplary, and the suggestions they made for us were fantastic. As first-time travelers to Africa, with group of 10 students we had many questions, and our agent responded promptly and in detail to all our questions. Brian, the company’s managing director and his partner met with us in person not once but twice - that level of service is something we have not encountered before. Our Kili guide and Safari driver was one of the most knowledgeable and friendly tour staffs we have ever met - we were sad to leave them. We cannot recommend this safari tour company highly enough! Our expectations were high, and they were exceeded!”

“My husband and I recently returned from a eight days safari in Tanzania, the wildlife was really exciting. We saw many animals in the nature. This was one of the best experiences we ever had. Everything was organised perfectly. Accommodation was superb and the game drives were exceptional. A special mention to our guide for being amazing. He was very friendly, but at the same time he also allowed us plenty of time to ourselves. I really suggest to you to do this.”

“We booked a trip with your company at the 26th of June and we had the privilege
to do the trip with William.
William was a great tour guide! He showd vast knowledge on everything from the animals to the nature that surrounded us. In addition, he greeted us warmly and was very nice throughout the whole trip.
There is no doubt in our minds that if we come back to Tanzania we will want to do more trips with William and if we will hear from anyone we know that they are going to Tanzania, we will recomend on Gosheni and especially on William.”

“Discovering northern Tanzania national parks was long time dream.
We were looking for a local company that would offer us flexibility and quality service.
All went perfect : organization before we arrived, during our trip regarding quality of logistics, accommodation, transportation and food as well as quality of our guides, to the transfer on the way back to the airport. All was made for us to feel like home while preserving the specificity of our experience in a wonderful environment.
I did expect a lot from this trip .. thank you for making it even better than imagined !
I definetely recommend this company !”

“We just returned from an amazing two week safari and beach holiday organised by Arend Safaris. We are a family of five - two adult children, and a five year old.

We have been thoroughly impressed with Arend safaris throughout the entire planning and execution of our trip. We planned our trip with Thomas over the course of a few months and were grateful for Thomas's helpful and prompt replies to our numerous emails! Thomas was very knowledgeable about Tanzania and what we could expect, and was flexible in terms of tailoring the trip and accommodation to suit our needs.

The safari portion of our trip was the highlight. After a brief delay in Rwanda, we landed in Kilimanjaro and were picked up by our amazing guide, Baraka. We stayed one night at the African Tulip - very nice, and set off the next morning for the Ngongorongo Crater. From the moment we entered the conservation area we saw so many animals - far more than we would have expected on our first day - and all thanks to Baraka! He can spot animals miles away. We had close encounters with a lion, and saw zebra, elephants, giraffes, buffalo and two black rhinos! We spent a night at the Ngongorongoro Farmhouse - again, really great accommodation. The rooms are huge and the grounds are spacious.

We headed to the Serengeti the following day. We had an amazing three days on safari - and saw soooo many animals. We got nice and close to lions and elephants, and even saw two leopards in one day! During our time in the Serengeti we stayed at the Serengeti Kati Kati Camp. This accommodation was exceptional - the tents are all set a little way apart, and you really feel like you're in the middle of it all - which you are. The staff at the Camp are really great, they are all super friendly and make a big effort to ensure you are happy and are having fun. They light a campfire which everyone sits around each night before dinner, before serving dinner in the main tent. Your guide eats dinner with you, which we really enjoyed too.

Our guide, Baraka, was great. He was extremely knowledgeable and had a great sense of humour. We felt that he fitted in with us perfectly. He was flexible and relaxed and made the whole safari a breeze. We felt very lucky to have him as a guide.

Following our safari we flew direct from the Serengeti to Zanzibar with Auric Air - it was a great flight, with lots to see out the window. We finished our trip with 6 days in Zanzibar. We stayed at the Flame Tree Cottages in Nungwi, a beautiful part of the island. We visited Stonetown and Prison Island - and meet some very old tortoises. The accommodation and the beaches were great.

Overall, an amazing trip made simple and stress free by booking with Arend Safaris. We are very happy and would thoroughly recommend The Arend safaris to any travellers.”
