Amazing 5 day camping safari Reviewed Tour: 5 days Safari - Manyara,Ngorongoro and Serengeti

“I just got back from a 5 day camping safari to the Serengeti, Tarangire & Ngorongoro Crater. I have been travelling independently for nearly 20 years and this is only the 2nd tour I have done - and I have to say I was extremely impressed. My driver/guide Shirima was knowledgeable, helpful and great company, not to mention a very careful driver. He took me around each park sharing his extensive expertise on the environment, culture and wildlife, he answered all of my questions and more, and really made the trip very special and person. Also with us was a chef, Hameesi who conjured three great meals a day including a 3 course meal for dinner each night - the food was tasty and high quality, particularly considering he made them all in camp kitchens! Hamees was also great fun and good company. As a solo female traveller, safety and security is always in the back of my mind, but I didn't feel uneasy for a moment. I couldn't recommend Shirima and Hamees more highly, this is a trip I will never forget!”

“Had a great time with Agama Tours. I was volunteering in Tanzania for 2 months and did a 6 day tour in the end, absolutely amazing! I took a budget 6 day tour Tarangire, Ngorongoro and Serengeti. The guide what absolutely brilliant, couldn't possibly find a better guide. Professional, obviously had plenty of experience and knowledge and more than that, was just great with people and comfortable to be with. Saw plenty of animals and the beautiful country o my. Food was great and operation overall smooth. You just have to go there and not just see it on tv! Highly recommend Agama Tours and Safaris if you want a quality safari in Tanzania.”
2 Days Safari - Tarangire and Ngorongoro. Amazing experience! Reviewed Tour: 2 Days Safari - Tarangire and Ngorongoro

“The first day of our safari we visited Tarangire National Park. The highlight was definately the enormeous amount of elephants that we saw. But the whole park was unbelieveable beautiful and stuffed with wildlife. The time there flew way to fast! I would like to visit it again at a time when the Tarangire river is flowing.
On day two we went to the Ngorongoro crater. The view from the top is very scenic, and the crater itself is filled with a lot of different animals. We spotted a black rhino, a pack of hyenas chasing an ostrich and countless lions.”

“One thing that impressed me about this safari, was accommodation. Yes, we paid a hefty amount of money for the family but we enjoyed the journey. Ngorongoro Crater Lodge made us feel so good because it was outstanding in all possible ways. Good food, welcoming staff, well decorated. simply amazing.
Would I recommend this safari? Well, Yes. Go for it if you love luxury.”

“Everything went well with me and my family. We were here few weeks ago on our Vacation and we decided to go on safari. We had a lot choices but we eventually fell over this safari since we were on holiday and we planned it for quite sometime. It turned out to be a fine safari with lots of good memories and we enjoyed every part of it.
Our biggest surprise was how beautiful the lodges were. I think these guys are good at choosing where to take you. We loved it”

“We've always dreamed of staying at andBeyond lodges during our visit for a safari. Our dream came true with this well arranged safari schedule that offered us opportunity of a life time. Well organized by Arend Safaris, particularly Thomas, who made sure that we get the very best out there. We enjoyed and we recommend it for whoever wants a perfect luxury trip to Africa.”

“5 days of safari was great for seeing Tarangire, Lake Manyara, Serengeti and Ngorogoro. We spent one day in each park except for Serengeti where we stayed two nights in the middle of the park, sleeping in tents. That was by far the best part of the whole experience, even though I had a fever the first night and it was raining the second. Still it was much more of an outdoor experience than sitting in the car and if I go on safari again I would very much like to do a walking safari or go canoeing one day. I know it's not for everyone but I thought it was awesome and just the right amount of scary having elephants, giraffes, baboons, lions and buffaloes just outside the camp and hyenas three meters from the tent fighting over the garbage and hearing frogs quackle all through the night.
I really liked going at the start of the rain season since we got to see more variety in weather. Afterwards I feel like I could have skipped Tarangire National Park, since all the animals we saw there we also saw in Serengeti, although the environment in the two parks was really different so therefore I don't regret seeing both of them. The best thing with visiting all of those four parks was the big variety in environment, otherwise I'd probably feel fine with only visiting Serengeti.”
