“The hike is quite challenging but totally worth it and our guide helped us a lot. Views were wonderful and Machu Picchu was amazing. The porters did a great job as they carried almost everything. Thanks to all the team that did the trek with us, we highly recommend this wonderful trek. ”

No additional cancellation fees apply for this Aussie Group Explorer 17D/16N tour. You can cancel the tour up to 33 days prior departure and avoid paying the full amount, but your deposit paid is non-refundable. No refund applies for cancellations within 32 days of departure.


For any tour departures within 29 October 2021, full payment is required. For tours that depart later than 29 October 2021, a deposit of 20% is required to confirm this tour, and the remaining balance will be charged 32 days before trip departure.

Travel Insurance

Aussie Group Explorer 17D/16N tour requires that you have adequate and valid travel insurance covering medical and personal accidents, including repatriation costs and emergency evacuation. We recommend using World Nomads' travel insurance.


For this Aussie Group Explorer 17D/16N tour getting the required visa(s) is the responsibility for each individual traveller, as visa requirements vary depending on your nationality. We recommend to check with your local embassies representing the countries that you are travelling to, as part of this itinerary.


Accommodation Note: If staying in a dorm you will be put in single sex dorms wherever possible

Guide Note: You will be with the same group of travellers for the duration of the trip, but you may not always have the same guide.

Group Size Note: Although the group travelling will not exceed 24 passengers, a number of the activities including the cruise in the Whitsundays, four-wheel-drive touring on Fraser Island, and rail journey are not exclusive to the group. You will travel with additional people and will have larger group sizes on those days.
