“This was an unforgettable adventure! There was a great balance between learning about the culture and still getting to have fun and relax. I can honestly say this was my favourite holiday so far. There was me thinking Machu Picchu was unbeatable :) Our guide was lovely from the moment we met him, he was really approachable and easy to chat with. We were able to have our input and he always ensured we were having fun. Sri Lanka in itself... well all I can say is go explore. “Third tour with the tour operator and it is definitely the best (which is no mean feat against such incredible competition!) The tour experience is the perfect blend between exploration and relaxation. During week one, you explore Buddhist temples, tea plantations and hike to reach unreal views. Week two is all about stunning beaches, infinity pools and elephant spotting. It was an absolute dream. The accommodation is some of the best this tour operator has to offer; the hotel in Unuwatuna was my personal favourite, offering the most incredible service (and that breakfast!!). The food throughout the entire trip was out of this world! Last but not least was our leader, Roisin. The best leader I have had on any trip - full of energy, sass and ready to take charge of any situation with the locals. She and the rest of the 5th April group have made the past two weeks unforgettable - if you don't book this you're missing out!”
