Sure, you could spend your nights in one of those nightclubs or pubs in the city. But that’s so normal! How about spending your nights with an entirely different set of living beings, a group of 2500 nocturnal animals in a special zoo that opens up only at night. The Singapore Night Safari hosts animals from over 130 species, including indigenous species such as the Malayan tapir, the Asian elephant and the Malayan tiger, in 35 acres of rainforests.
You could always explore the park via a 35-minute tram ride which takes you across seven geographical zones, but the ideal way to uncover the mysteries of a Night Safari is by exploring the park through one of its four walking trails. These trails let you see animals that can never be seen from the tram. Some of the top walking trails include the Fishing Cat Trial, the Leopard Trail and the Wallaby Trail.
And remember, no trip to this award-winning park is complete without enjoying spectacular performances such as the Creatures of the Night Show. This interactive 20-minute show highlights mind-boggling natural abilities of some of the nocturnal animals present here.
