Our guide shared with us the fascinating history and traditions behind this unique cemetery, and we were left with a deep appreciation for the customs and culture of Maramures. Throughout our tour, we also had the opportunity to immerse ourselves in local experiences. We visited traditional markets where we sampled delicious local cheeses and meats, and we learned about the traditional crafts of the region, such as woodcarving and weaving. These experiences allowed us to truly connect with the local people and gain a deeper understanding of the culture and way of life in Romania. What really stood out to us was the expertise and passion of the team. Our guide was not only incredibly knowledgeable, but also went out of their way to ensure that we had the best possible experience. They took us to off-the-beaten-path locations that we never would have found on our own, and their enthusiasm for the region was infectious.”
