“Again, I want to stress that the
Travel Director did a great job trying to accommodate us,
but Trafalgar as an organization has tied his hands with
respect to what he can do. There was some trouble with
the bus, which doesn't even factor in to this.
Most people know stuff happens - I'm not concerned
about that.
About
1.5 to 2 days are free days which we have to pay for
ourselves. Why? Start the tour the next day
and let people arrive by the day before? Also, you
have to pay for extras? Why? We paid for the
tour! We missed seeing Culloden??? Why?
It was annoying seeing the road sign saying it was 2
miles away and we turned the opposite way? Include
everything (no extras with additional payment) and don't
make folks pay for the extras?????
The good stuff (as it wasn't all
bad, just not sure we got value for our money - see above) -
The last meal at the farm house - that was great. The
tour of Eilean Donan Castle which wasn't supposed to
happen, but the weather forced us to do this as an
alternative was fantastic. Not pleased that the visit
to the Isle of Skye was a driveby (about 15 minutes inside
the bus). The tours of the Edinburgh and Stirling
Castles were good, but a little rushed.”

“Very fun full of history and our guide Kate was absolutely wonderful and informative. The weather was beautiful and every place we stopped was just perfect. I would recommend Trafalgar to others.”

“Enjoyed seeing three views of Scotland so get an idea of the whole country rather than just one city.
There was still a lot of bus time which I thought we would eliminate with the leisure trip. I guess the bus time was necessary to see everything in the short time.
It might have been better to add a couple of days to give more free time.”
