The Highlights Of Bolivia tour starts and ends in Santa Cruz De La Sierra. The Highlights Of Bolivia tour is a local culture tour that takes 15 days taking you through Santa Cruz De La Sierra, Amboro National Park, Lake Titicaca, Uyuni and 6 other destinations in Bolivia and Peru. This is a guided small group tour that includes accommodation, transport, meals and others.

Landlocked Bolivia is a quintessential South American country both in terms of the immensity of its landscapes and its strong indigenous culture. Although little-known, Amboró National Park boasts almost unparalleled bio-diversity and the charming, albeit rustic, gateway town of Samaipata also gives access to the nearby Pre-Columbian UNESCO site of El Fuerte. Nowhere else on Earth can you find salt flats of comparable scale to Salar de Uyuni; a comprehensive three-day 4WD adventure reveals its multi-coloured lagoons, cacti islands and spouting geysers. In stark contrast to these natural wonders are the vibrant cities of Sucre, Potosi and La Paz whose heritage was shaped by both the Incas and the Spanish Conquistadores. Finally, wind down with a night in an eco-lodge on the Isla del Sol overlooking the deep, tranquil waters of Lake Titicaca - fringed by snow-capped peaks of the Cordillera Real.

“It was a gorgeous holiday.I enjoyed very much thedogs and the cold winter impressions. We had till -30C -35C when we are driven with the dogsover the open lakes. Keep your batteries and camera near by the body, you cannot recharge the batteries the whole trip. The block house are without electricity, but the fire and the saunaskeeps you warm after a long day. Make sure you want to help the guide by feeding the dogs, makes the dogspoo away, cutting their meat, or organise water from the next point. I loved it to make such simple work, I forgot the hectic busymodern world. The dogs are amazing, they are patient so long they don't know that we are starting, they are friendly and love to be cuddled. Thanks Reicca for this amazing trip, our group decided that he was the best guide in the world. We loved each minute of this trip, and I had a small tears in my eyes when we had to left the dogs behind. And don't look to the puppies, you don't wanna go without one home! I'm sure I will do it again in the next years.”

“Petra is fantastic. A must see and awe inspiring sight. Wadi Rum at the end of May was too hot. It was in the high 30s and low 40s which meant we had to spend hours resting in the shade and much of the walking felt like a route march at times - something to be endured and survived rather than enjoyed. People were exhausted. No other tour company was trekking at the end of May. So go, but go earlier in the year.”

“Costa Rica has clearly learned that conservation and habitat preservation bring benefits not only to wildlife and the environment but also to local populations and the national economy. The guides who support Costa Ricas ecotourism industry are nothing short of inspirational; their training, level of knowledge, understanding of ecosystems and their enthusiasm to impart their knowledge bode well for our planet. Anyone who cares about the natural world and its well-being cannot fail to love this trip which will bring a smile to their face every single day. The trip takes in just about all of the biomes of a country which can rightfully boast to be one of the most biodiverse in the world. To achieve this, its a busy trip which covers a lot of miles with stays at some very attractive lodges on both coasts and in the mountains. It also features some wonderful destinations which are off the well worn tourist track. The September trip had some rain on most days, although never for long and although it was hot and humid a lot of the time, our air-conditioned coach with wifi and Carlos, a brilliant driver, made the travelling comfortable for us. We loved the trip and came home with memories (and photographs) to share and to last through many years.”
