Package deal with all bus tours and five sightseeing options
From United Kingdom UK At
4 - Very Good
“We paid for the package where you get five extras. Upon arrival at city sightseeing, we knew which five extras we wanted. Some of the options like the 7d experience weren't worth choosing because they were inexpensive. We chose the muir woods tour, The bay boat ride, the one way boat ride back from Sausalito to take after the muir woods trip because the city sight seeing bus stops the president, so we figured we would eat lunch there and have a walk before taking the one way boat trip back to SF. We also chose the Exploratorium and Academy of Sciences. We originally wanted the £25 dollar food voucher which we were told they were out of at the that time. Funny thing is that I said to my husband before we even got onto our flight for sf, that the 25 Dollar food voucher was not listed as an option on the city sightseeing website, but it was on Bookmundi website where I booked the the package and that we would probably be told they didn't have any. How right I was. The lady at the city sightseeing office proceeded to tell us that you have to spend a certain amount at the restaurant to validate the food vouchers anyway and that they aren't worth it, however don't offer something you can't follow through with on travel web sighs city sightseeing. You can only get away with saying you are 'out' of certain vouchers you have listed as an option in this package. Also, the jet boat is seasonal and was another listed option which only runs in warmer months. So two of the choices weren't available. I worked out that it would have been cheaper to probably just pay for most of the museum entrances independently opposed to getting the package deal. The only thing that makes this deal feel semi worth it is the muir woods trip. Anyways, we always do the city sightseeing tours in all cities we visit and usually enjoy them. I would do your homework before arriving and make sure to ask what items are "out" of stock and out of season. My method of rating three stars......three for the bus tours. Minus two for the customer service issue of employee sorting thru payday checks while serving us and minus a second star for nothing being able to follow through with all the items you have listed as sightseeing choices due to out of season or out of stock. Honestly it,s bordering on false advertisement as it's the options that lure people into the package and for you to be unable to follow through with your package listing is not acceptable. You need to mention that some choices are seasonal.”
