Join us on a 1-day hike to one of the most beautiful mountain lakes of Peru. We will pick you up form your hotel in Huaraz between 06:30 to 07:00 in the morning. Take the road that goes to Pitec. Reach the check point of Huscaran National Park, the starting point of the hike. Follow an uphill, zigzag trail from that point all the way to Laguna Churup. The hike will take you approximately 2 - 3 hours. The hike to Laguna Churup is popular among travelers, not just among those wanting to see the lake but also among those wanting to acclimatize before a longer trek in Peru. But even if the lake is close to Huaraz, it is not so easy to reach. However, we have ensured that you can walk at your own pace and rest when you need to. You also have the option of camping on the shore of the lake. Reach Laguna Churup, located at the elevation of 4450m. Take plenty of time to relax and explore the surrounding areas.
