We had a really nice time on our three passes Trek. I would definitely recommend doing the three passes over the normal Everest base camp trip as views are much nicer and you see more of the Everest region. Just don't rush the trip too much as you really need the time for acclimatization. Making the trip longer is always the better option then shorter and we have seen quite some people who had big issues with altitude sickness because they went up too fast. There are several peaks you can add additional to the three passes if you have enough time what I would recommend as well. Be careful with the guide you get, at the end it is your trip so he should really adapt to your wishes. Here you have to be strict that the guide is following your wishes and not you his.

I highly recommend this local tour operator! We took 18 days trek to Everest Base Camp and 3 High Passes in November and the experience was just amazing. We had everything professionally organized by Chris: transportation (including flight to Lukla), food and lodging, permits, you name it... The contact with the company was always quick and easy, Chris was super helpful and everything went smoothly. We were even provided with really good and warm sleeping bags and jackets! Our guide Lakpa was really experienced and knowledgeable, he showed us some of the most incredible places we've ever seen, helped us through all the though parts of the trail and was always there to answer questions and offer advice. We felt really well taken care for every step of the way. We're already planning our next trek in Nepal and we'll most definitely come back to Nepal.

Great experience with Khum ji in coordinating the trek,travel in Kathmandu and to Lukla and was lucky to have the best porter/guide Dendi who twice summitted Everest and provided all the help and know about the area. Although lost a few days for not a seat on plane to Lukla, it was a great experience overall.

We can highly recommend doing this Trek. It is a tough hiking trek (since you will be at very high altitudes for multiple days in a row) but the views make up for it - the landscape is stunning. Our Guide (Sanchaman Rai) explained a lot and did his best so that we felt always safe and secure. When we could not finish the first pass (Kongma La) - Sanchaman adjusted our plan so that we could do the other two passes, even though we lost a day. All in all it was a great trek with a great tour agency. (Hint: If you think about doing the Trek in less than 16Days - it may be possible, but make sure that you acclimatize correctly otherwise you will not enjoy the experience :-). In our opinion 16 Days is the perfekt amount of time).

Ive travelled with 2 friends in Nov 2018 to a Expedition to EBC and Chola Pass, we had great time and I strongly recommend Exciting Nepal Agency. The agency was super organized since the booking, they did excellent planning (we had the first flights to arrive and leave from Lukla) what makes huge difference. They also adapt the tour according to our physical condition during the trip (altitude sickness). My partner and I had the most amazing experience with this local travel specialist. We completed the three high passes + EBC trail, with my partner even going on to summit Island Peak (successfully!). Our guide Kanchha Tamang made sure we had the best experience - a well planned itinerary to ensure we acclimatised properly, looking out for any signs of AMS, looking after us when we both got sick with viruses on the trail. We had flexibility to change our itinerary a bit to maximise our chance of the best views as we were walking quicker than expected. Kanchha always made sure we had fun, made great memories, learned lots about the culture and history of the regions we were in, and supported us so well through what can be a pretty challenging few weeks on the trail. We miss him already! Special shout-out to our amazing porter Jiban, without whom the trek would not have been possible and for whom we are so grateful. And another special mention to Rajendra who managed our trip and who goes truly above and beyond for his clients. When we mentioned to Kanchha we were interested in exploring Pokhara after our trek had finished, he called Rajendra who then arranged everything for us (flights, accomodation, recommendations for activities, booked us in for paragliding). When we got stranded in Lukla for a few days due to grounded planes, it is due to the tireless efforts of Kanchha & Rajendra that we were able to get out of the mountains on a helicopter and continue our holiday.
