I have used this operator for a small group trip from Lhasa, Tibet to Kathmandu (including Everest base camp), an independent tour of the Kathmandu area, a Southern Nepal safari, a driver to take us to friends near the 2015 earthquake epicenter (one month after the earthqake), and a tour of Bhutan. Makalu Base Camp is a great trekking area and a camping trek. Makalu Base Camp is one of the most remote and unfrequented areas of Nepal. This trek offers wilderness and stunning natural scenery and takes you to the Makalu Base Camp (5,250 m), located in Makalu Barun National Park. The incredible biodiversity of the area provides a living laboratory for international scientific research. There are spectacular views of rugged Himalayan peaks, including Mt. Makalu (8,463m), fifth highest mountain in the world, Mt. Chamlang (7,319 m) and Mt. Baruntse (7,129m). Within 40km, all of these high peaks descend into the Arun River at 670m. The Makalu-Barun Valley provides stunning contrasts with craggy rocks rising from lush green forests, and colorful flowers bloom beneath white snow peaks. The dense forest of Rhododendrons, Nepal's national flower, covers the gorgeous hills of the Barun valley, where high waterfalls cascade into deep gorges, alpine meadows & the Barun glacier. Having a wide range of attitudinal and climatic variation the Makalu Base Camp trek offers a remarkable and diverse habitat for a rich variety of flora and fauna.
The trek starts with a flight to Tumlingtar and heads up the Arun River valley to Sedua and Num. From Num, the trail zigzags into the Arun and starts up the Kasuwa Khola turning westward crossing the Shipton La Pass (4,500m) into the upper Barun Khola valley. We pass through villages of the Brahman, Chhetri, Rai, Limbu, Gurung and Tamang community with their unique local culture and own mother language, tradition & costume.

Are you planning to travel to Jodhpur from Udaipur? If yes, then this is the trip for you. Book this trip and get the chance to see major highlights while travelling between these two cities. We will pick you up from your hotel or location in Udaipur and take the road to Jodhpur.
The first important cultural landmark en route is Kumbhalgarh Fort, a Unesco World Heritage site and a place from where to enjoy mesmerizing views. We will then drive you to the Jain Temple in Ranakpur. It is believed that the temple was built in the 15th century under the direction of Seth Dharna Shah, a follower of Jainism. He is said to have constructed this temple with the help of Rana Kumbha, the king of Mewar, after whom the temple is named.
Back in the car, we will continue the journey to Jodhpur, where we will drop you off at your hotel or location. Please note that entrance fees to the monuments are not included in the tour price.
