The Heritage Route - Riyadh to Jeddah

Start in Riyadh and end in Jeddah in this in-depth cultural tour. In this 10-day 'The Heritage Route - Riyadh to Jeddah' tour, you will drive overland through Riyadh, the capital city of Saudi Arabia, and five other famed destinations of the country on the Arabian peninsula.

One of the destinations is Al-Ula, a true hidden gem that boasts Saudi Arabia's first Unesco World Heritage Site: the ancient city of Hegra. This archeological site was recently opened to the public without any restrictions, so you will get to explore the remains of a city said to be built by an ancient Arabic tribe called the Thamud.

The tour will also take you toJebel Qaraqir, a sandstone massif and one of the natural wonders of Saudi Arabia; the city of Madinah, a holy site for Muslims known for the Prophet's Mosque; and the port city of Jeddah, where we will check out its many historical and religious landmarks. There will also be several museum tours, traditional Arabic market visits and heritage village trips.

We will end our epic cultural tour in the port city of Jeddah with fun filled activities, including a boat cruise, snorkelling, diving and swimming.
