Well organized tour with excellent guide and driver

  • Douglas Kimmel
“The tour was excellent from beginning to end. Our first orientation meeting was efficient and well organized that set the stage for the trip that was flawless in execution. We were lucky to have a good group of compatible folks and all of the destinations were interesting and worthwhile. The pace was very good and enough time was spent when needed. The hotels were very good and the meals mostly at our expense were above expectation often prepared with quality chef skills. The only flaw was the bus was compact and a challenge to get on and off multiple times with backpacks and all but eventually we learned to manage and switched seats during the trip so everything worked out OK”

“I just wanted to let you know how happy we were with the travel package you and co-workers put together. We had no problems at all with the accommodations, and everything went quite smoothly with the vouchers. The inns were comfortable, and the car arrangements also went well. The extra time near Lake Myvatn allowed me to have a wonderful horseback ride and practice the "tolt" at Hestasport. Thankfully the storms didn't interfere with travel too much. It was a bit of a challenge communicating back and forth for the planning aspect, with the time and date differences, but we had a great trip and enjoyed Island a lot, amazing place! Thanks for your help.”

“We explored the Far North, discovering an Arctic world with wonderful new friends and grand daily adventures. We attended lectures, jumped into zodiacs for new shores, walked on the ice pack, learned about northern life and its peoples, and shared vibrant conversations at meals. Hotel staff very hospitable and expedition staff wise and fun. An outstanding adventure was had.”
