“I had a most wonderful and life changing trek in the Himalayan Mountains in May and June this year. The Annapurna section was beautiful, with extraordinary views and a lot of lush green areas which contrasted well with the sensational mountain passes. The Upper Dolpo section was more remote, more barren and had many more high mountain passes. It was absolutely spectacular. The tour company provided (as always in my experience) expert guides and when I developed a serious problem with my foot a pony was miraculously found for me.....it was so exciting riding a pony up and down mountain passes. I felt like I was in the movie "The Man From Snowy River". I had set myself a challenge to walk part of the GHT, and while I did not complete all of it due to injury, I have come home with a fresh perspective on life and living, and yes, I have found the meaning of my life.”

“I have just returned home from the Upper Dolpo Traverse in Northwestern Nepal . Six passes, remote, beautiful scenery. Met some beautiful Nepalese people, happy hard working in this harsh environment they live. I was very well looked after by my leaders Bikash and Binod. Great gluten free meals by my cook Chandra and kitchen staff and Sherpa Tsering always served it with a smile. Our gear was carried by mules and well looked after by our mule man Om. This trip is rated as Challenging and I'm 66 and managed ok. I rate it as a excellent trip especially if you're looking for a more remote and interesting trek.”

“The trail was incredible passing through steamy jungles as well as silent, imposing glacial terrain and remote. But the trail and its conditions were the only challenges we faced with the excellent leader and support team we had. Delicious meals with plenty of variety, comfy tents and high quality gear - everything, other than putting one foot in front of the other, is beautifully looked after for you.”
