Start and end in Queenstown, the "Great Walks Discovery" trip is a guided walking tour that takes 5 days. You will travel through Queenstown, Doubtful Sound and Te Anau in New Zealand. "Great Walks Discovery" is a small group trip which includes accommodation, transport and others.

All of these walks are located in the Fiordland National Park - a UNESCO World Heritage area with mystical coves and dense temperate rainforest.This is a bucket list hiking trip where you need not forgo any creature comforts.

WHAT'S INCLUDED

Accommodation

A range of hotels, lodges, chalets and overnight boat cruises. The only tour company to overnight at the Milford Lodge in Milford Sound!

Meal

Breakfast, lunch and dinner on all days, except where indicated on the itinerary (usually 1 day per trip is a free day, allowing you to choose your own dining location).

Transport

Airport transfers on the first & last days. When you're not travelling under your own steam, there will be comfortable air-conditioned vans to stretch your legs.

Guide

Two experienced New Zealand guides per trip. Having two guides allows for much greater flexibility, meaning you're able to go at your own pace.

Included activities

Thinking you can't fit much into 5 days? Think again! Of course you'll hike, but you'll also cruise, ride a gondola and view native wildlife.

WHAT'S EXCLUDED

Any international flights to/from Queenstown are not included in this price. We always recommend that you arrive 1 day prior to your tour starting date.
Travel insurance is not included in this Great Walks Discovery tour. Travel insurance is mandatory to buy. We recommend purchasing it from World Nomads.
