Is this trip right for you:
  • This tour visits the Tatra Mountains. The region is best discovered on foot and the itinerary includes a guided hike. If you do not wish to hike you are welcome to avail yourself of the facilities at our luxurious feature stay hotel.
  • On Day 11 you travel from Tatra Mountains in Slovakia to Krakow in Poland. The road is good but winds through mountain passes, making it a challenge for those prone to motion sickness.
  • The places visited on this trip often have cobblestone streets. Wheeling luggage across these surfaces can be difficult. For this reason we recommend following the guidelines in the Packing section of the Essential Trip Information.
  • Don’t let the heat keep you from exploring the world! Summer temperatures can be very high in some of the regions we visit, which can make things uncomfortable. It’s important to use sun protection, wear layers to combat the heat, and drink plenty of water.
  • A visit to Auschwitz-Birkenau Museum is not included but can be done in free time on day 13. Pre-booking is recommended.
