From the lush heights overlooking lakes and craters to swimming in natural thermal pools to whale watching this trip has it all. Brunos enthusiasm for his country and love of his job meant he was totally engaged with the group. He probably would have crammed more into the itinerary if time had allowed.The islands of the Azores are stunning and have to be walked to be fully appreciated .”

I needed some customization on the tour as I wanted to visit other islands on the Azores and the operator was quick in adapting to my needs and sent me through various options. This was a self-drive tour and everything from the accommodation to car hire was great. The operation suggested some great accommodations that I probably would have not found myself. Stayed in some local Adegas on Pico Island and got to experience everything Pico and Failal had to offer - from whale watching, hiking, and wine tasting. “Walking in the Azores was as good as expected - the islands are quite stunning and to see so many islands in one week and to do so much made it very special. It is a busy trip but we managed to see quite a lot. The walking was varied but not difficult, I used a walking stick on most days when going downhill. The views are amazing when the weather is clear, it was mostly hot and sunny and when it rains lightly (which it probably will even in August) it is never for long.”
