“We really enjoyed our tour with Expat on the Taste of Italy trip in Aug 2019. It was really good value for money, meals were pretty good. One of the hotels was quite poor (Tuscany area), the room quality was so dated and sheets were not clean. All addressed on the tour with the guide and hotel which was resolved. Its very full on and you squeeze a lot in 7 days! Which is good if you want to see everything. Our tour guide was Vivien who no longer works for Expat, she was brilliant. Our airport transfer never turned up, so luckily our Tour guide remained at the hotel for an extra day so we were able to catch her in the hotel lobby for help. These were paid transfers through expat. It may be cheaper to book your own using hotel.”

“Wow, the trip of a lifetime! I thought I would miss sleeping in, but I am so glad we didn't. We saw three times more than what we could've planned on our own. The last day we did relax and specifically planned a final night in Romantic Rome for my husband and I. Several people on the tour have traveled and confirmed Roma our guide was Heaven sent! She was amazing in her knowledge, leadership, experience with added humor too! Well Done Expat for having an angel like Roma! My husband likes to lead but she did well reeling him in, making him feel like a helping sheepdog for the herd. We will go on another Expat Tour and pray we have someone half as good as Roma! Only warning, hotels are 3 star rating but who cares when you barely stay in the room.”
