“My wife and I did a one day tour of Phnom Penh and are extremely satisfied with its entire content. If the beginning was rather sad because of the visit to the Genocide Museum (which is a definite must since it is part oft he country’s history!), the end of the tour on a ship watching the sunset was memorable! All in all, we were able to learn much about the city, its history and were able to experience various things like taking a ferry to a neighbouring island to visit a silk producing business, among others. This was the second tour we booked with Urban Adventures (the first one being in Ho Chi Mihn, Vietnam) and, as mentioned before, we are completely satisfied. The booking process is straight forward and the communication with the company works very well. This review would be incomplete if we didnt mention our wonderful tour guide Picheda. She is a young and very motivated tour guide with experience who was very knowledgeable of her subject and very professional. She executed the tour very well, was very friendly and shared with us her knowledge about her country, people and traditions. She is a very nice person to spend the whole day with! We recommend her and her work unconditionally! Thanks for everything and keep up the good work!”
“Very good but the local delicacy eggs with half formed embryos were a bit of a surprise. We couldn't bring ourselves to eat it and may have offended our host by our refusal. Perhaps if we were asked before hand if we were interested in something like that first, would could have said yes or no prior to having the dish presented to us? The silk farm was a real highlight. Loved helping out the local economy by buying their incredibly well made goods.”
