For any tour departures within 29 May 2024, full payment is required. For tours that depart later than 29 May 2024, a deposit of 20% is required to confirm this tour, and the remaining balance will be charged 62 days before trip departure.

Please make sure you pack at least 1 jumper and long pants, cold snaps can come through at any time of the year, so be prepared. (During the winter, especially June to August the temperatures can drop below zero in outback regions).

IMPORTANT INFORMATION

Travel insurance

Travel Insurance is highly recommended. Problems requiring insurance are rare, however, situations can arise when you will be glad you have it, eg injuries, medical evacuations, loss or damage of personal items etc.

Minimum age

For most departures, the minimum age is 16 years old at the time of travel. Some departures which correspond with Australian School Holidays are open to children from 7 years old, these are called "Family Friendly" departures (ask before booking).

Children must be travelling with an adult and remain the full responsibility of their parent or adult guardian throughout the duration of the tour, including those under the age of 18 on regular departures. If you are travelling on the Family Friendly dates you do not need to travel with children or be part of a family group, however, you should be aware that children may be on these departures.

Fitness level

It is very important that customers understand that a reasonable level of fitness is required for all tours.

The areas in which we operate vary greatly in terrain and weather conditions. Travellers may be required to undertake walking experiences up to 4 hours in duration in challenging conditions. Travellers must be aware that depending on which region the tour is visiting & the southern hemisphere weather season in which you are travelling, you could encounter extremes of heat ( 40C+) or cold (-5C).

You will need to report any pre-existing medical conditions &/or Dietary conditions before they join the tour. You may also be asked at the time of each tour commencement to sign a liability waiver.
