IS THIS TRIP RIGHT FOR YOU? ⚫ The trip includes a 13-day tour to three different countries in the Himalayas including a short hike of around 4 to 5 hours. The highest elevation you will reach in Bhutan is of 10, 237ft (3, 120m), while the highest altitude in Nepal that you will reach is 5, 250ft (1, 600m), and in Tibet the highest altitude you will reach is 14, 108ft (4, 300m). So, overall, one needs to be in excellent fitness and sound health conditions to beat the high altitude sickness, especially in Tibet. ⚫ Weather in Bhutan is highly influenced by the altitude, similar to that of arctic, frozen and frosty. Mountainous regions are continually covered in snow while the lower areas remain cool even in the summertime. The weather conditions of Nepal are quite to that of Europe and a bit contrasting to that of Australia. Winters are dry and summer is hot, especially at the lower belts of the country. It gets very cold in the mountainous regions during winters. Due to high elevations, Tibet has quite different weather conditions with a long winter span. Strong winds, low humidity and rarified atmosphere makes Tibet’s climate a dry continental one. ⚫ During this tour, visitors will be staying in standard 3 to 4 star hotels with all the optimum facilities required by them. Hotels in Bhutan are approved and classified by the government as grade A, B or C. Free Wi-Fi access will be available at all the hotels in these three destinations. ⚫ The trip includes all meals in Bhutan and Tibet while only breakfast will be provided while touring Nepal. International flight costs are not included in the trip cost. ⚫ For this trip, you will fly into Paro, Bhutan and spend 4 days there. On day 5 you will fly to Kathmandu, Nepal and spend 5 days in Nepal before flying to Lhasa, Tibet. On the fourth day after arriving Lhasa, you will fly back to your onward destination or you native country.
