Rio de Janeiro Tours in December 2027

This is my 3rd Expat tour, and believe me, Expat is the best! I have joined the Brazil and Argentina delights with Iguazu falls. This tour gave us the best of both worlds, the city life and the beautiful wildlife and natural wonders of both countries. Not to miss the Iguazu falls! Highly recommended. A big shoutout to Rafael, our tour leader who speaks Spanish and Portuguese so fluently! who have had really helped us. He goes above and beyond for everyone of us, making sure that we are safe and comfortable.. He goes really extra miles for us! The kind of tour leader Rafael is, resonates the whole Expat! and that I trust Expat! and they exceeded my expectations!! I have booked another tour with them too, and I am excited!!

This was an amazing tour, with an outstanding leader in Ingrid and excellent local guides, who worked together to create a very well organised holiday. We had realised, in order to get a snapshot of specific locations in this vast country, many internal flights would be essential and they worked very well. The tranquillity of the Amazon area with boat trips and forest walks revealed the hoped-for range of birds, including the curious looking Hoatzin. The Pantanal offered us beautiful birds such as the Hyacinth Macaw plus sightings of creatures, including the tapir and the prowling jaguar. The greatest surprise at Iguazu Falls was the discovery of a host of different species of butterflies. Overall, Explore had arranged a magnificent trip to show us highlights of these distinct regions of Brazil in a convenient timeframe.

Excellent, well organized short trip taking in Iguazu Falls, Paraty and Ilha Grande as well as Bs As and Rio. Would suggest a little longer in Rio. Leader was well informed and experienced so added to enjoyment.

Right from the start the tour guide RAFAEL is very accomodating,helpful.This tour is well guided. Since,this is my first time to join the tour all I can say is that I am still looking forward for another future tour. Thank Expat .

This tour was made unforgettable and memorable by our tour Leader Rafael Forsenca. He worked twice as hard to give us all the time and attention we need to enjoy the trip and make the most of the the money we spent.

The guide Vitor Lima was a nice guy, did what he needed to do but was not exceptional. Communication at times could have been better. On the travel days gave no additional about the country unlike other guides that I have traveled with. The itinerary did not allow for enough flexiability to reach Iguazu Falls timely. The trip notes recognises issues with LATAM but does not realistically allow for schedule changes. Approx 15 hours were lost effectively because of this at Iguazu including loss of time arriving at the hotel day, this should have been evening day 11 and not late morning day 12. No acknowledgement received from Explore given the difficulties encountered that day despite being back from the trip just over a week.
