This was a great trip which we really enjoyed. It was described as 'moderate/challenging', which related to the 'undulations' and sometimes dirt tracks upon which we cycled, and some of the 'normal' roads and paved roads were a little rough. Having said that, we all managed OK. Additionally, the trip was 'full on' with some early starts, some late meals and other activities such as boat trips, and other options too. No two days were the same, variety was the key. There were 16 of us on this trip, ranging in age from 32-69 (which was me!) with two couples (all in their sixties) the rest friends/singles, and a majority of women.
Awesome diverse scenery-the most fabulous snapshot of 3 countries This was an amazing trip that I had been thinking about doing for years. I am so glad I finally took the plunge, despite not being a regular cyclist. The trip is a superb "snapshot" of 3 beautiful countries where the scenery is diverse-think wildlife/exotic birds, beautiful beaches, laid-back atmosphere, extraordinary tropical forest greenery, colourful towns, lakes, volcanoes, mountains and wonderful colonial architecture. A good mix of biking and down-time!
Cycling in Nicaragua, Costa Rica & Panama - Easter 2016 This was my third cycling holiday with Exodus. The time spent in Central America was simply fantastic from start to finish. I would certainly recommend this holiday. The cycling was super - lovely views, great bikes and good support from the guides (water, Gatorade, fruit and snacks all provided throughout the cycling). Away from the cycling, each day was varied with plenty of activities to suit every taste. The locations we visited were all interesting and the hotels all good quality with plenty of character.
