“Salkantay” is the Apu snow-capped mountain of Cusco that rises to an altitude of 6,271 meters. Discover the beautiful and great snow-capped mountain of Salkantay (6,271 m), bathe in natural hot springs, see the Condor and alpaca as well as several fruit trees and a variety of orchids, and enjoy some of Peru’s rich coffee from “Quillabamba La Convención”. This tour is surely going to be incredibly special!

The Salkantay circuit is one of the greatest attractions of Cusco. The Mountain Range of Vilcabamba where the massif of Salkantay lies is a beautiful and secluded area. Dominated by Apu Salkantay, it has many snowy peaks such as Tucarhuay (5,910 masl), Veronica (5,682 masl) and Huacayhuilca (5,361 masl). These peaks are visible from Salkantay, on the way to Machu Picchu. The Salkantay is also surrounded by deep valleys and gorges, making this an extremely interesting journey.
