This was an excellent tour. We were fortunate to have Carolyn, who was a very informative and knowledgeable tour guide. Sam, our driver also did a great job, navigating some very windy roads in difficult conditions. We visited many beautiful and quite spectacular places. The accommodation and food were great, and everything ran smoothly. Thanks to Carolyn, Sam and all at AAT Kings for a wonderful experience. I am already in the process of planning our next tour with this company!

I went on this trip with a friend and we really enjoyed it! Tasmania has a lot to offer - rainforests as well as mountains and beaches. We were able to see a lot in just 6 days and our guide was awesome, thanks for this great experience!

Some places better than others. The best & most comfortable being Cradle Mountain Hotel. The Movenpick in Hobart was lovely too except for some cleaning problems there. ( dirty toilet on arrival and dusty bedside tables) & our window view of a close up wall was disappointing.. The meals were excellent in both places. I was disappointed with the Lyell wing of Strahan Village. Older rooms up the back. Voyager at Burnie we were in an end room.. no balcony and l couldn't open any windows. Being by the beach I would have liked to hear the surf. All meals at all hotels were very good when offered.

The Best Westerns were average in cleaning department, the regional hotels were pretty good with the odd exception due noise from in room items such as bar fridges and air conditioners. The food at the locations was quite good.

The tour director and coach driver were excellent. The knowledge of the plants and animals and the history of the areas we passed through. However one or two of the accommodations we stayed at needed some attention.
