It was a pleasure to tour Venice, Florence, and Rome. The tour included a good mix of scheduled events, optional excursions, and free time. When there was free time, it was simple to travel by foot or cab to and from every hotel location.
I am so glad that my best friend talked me into the tour. I would never have chosen to go on some of these excursions on my own. It was an amazing experience. I especially enjoyed going up to the top of Jungfrau in the Swiss Alps. I nearly chose not to go because I do not like the cold. It was incredible. Our tour guide Rogan was great and encouraged us to experience everything. He really made everything great.
We really enjoyed it, and it was our first time touring in a large group via coach. This tour was all go, and while some of the accommodations did not allow us more free time, the majority did. A fascinating cross-section of individuals and ages. Leonardo, our tour guide, was excellent. If only we could have preserved all of his comments. Overall, it was a very enjoyable trip that we intend to do again.
