“My guide was Karen. She was oh so nice and very knowledgeable! She educated the group on the food and country, while fielding all of the groups questions. The restaurants we visited were charming. It was great for me, wanting to sample the iconic Icelandic food yet not liking seafood, I was able to taste (and enjoy) what I not would have ordered on my own. Even met people on the tour and continued sight seeing with them after the tour!”

“I did submit a more positive review for the "Hygge and Happiness" tour that I did on 2.4.16 - resulting in my booking this one too - but unsure it got submitted. Both walks left very positive impressions on me - and I must emphasise that, first and foremost! I spent a MOST enjoyable afternoon with Villads (and the two 'shadowers') - but did find this tour quite lacking in content for an "Urban Adventures" walking tour. I have done others in Delhi, Paris and Budapest (all outstanding, as the "Hygge and Happiness" one - so my expectations were high!!). This one, content wise, was a little 'thin' mainly because a regenerated, former "seedy" area around the train station is nothing new (the case in lots of cities). Also, although I like beer, having four beers on this trip in the afternoon was A LOT!! I have no problem with the choices made (each was very different from the others) - but I would suggest SAMPLES in the future, rather than FULL glasses/pints! And, some food/snacks should be included (maybe a "Smorrebrod" sample, a chocolate, a sample from a sausage stall etc. - even if not customary to have with beer in Denmark!). Maybe also start the tour a little later (4 pm) so that if people wanted to stay in the Meatpackers' area for the evening, it would be a more suitable time to do so Do not want to sound over-critical and hope this will be accepted as constructive criticism... Don't want to praise too much, either, in case this tours become TOO popular. The individual nature of them is their attraction for me (and the Australian woman who was on my first one in Copenhagen). Villads was excellent, on both tours!”
