TREKKING IN NEW ZEALAND

“Fantastic jam packed three weeks in the wonderful New Zealand. The trip was more than I could have hoped for, New Zealand would be a great back drop for any visit.”
Absolutely recommendable despite extra expenditures

“Overall the trip was amazing and with Vaughan we also had a great guide From a fitness level it is absolutely for beginners or intermediate level as only 1 walk was above 12 km The only criticism we're the many motels where no real breakfast is available so you need to calculate for extra expenditures as this will not be sufficient given you will be travelling the whole day Also in the hotels don't expect to much of variety re breakfast And you one note re the itinerary- maybe having the last night in Christchurch rather than akaroa might make sense”
For the true snow junkie
5 - Excellent

“This tour is one for the true snow junkie. The snow fields visited on this trip are smaller, off-the-beaten-path club fields. Although these fields have some of the best powder in all of New Zealand, most of them only provide nutcracker rope-tow access to the sites. Learning the technique to using nutcrackers and rope-tows was not easy or straightforward, but our guide Morgs was very patient and stayed with us until we could master the technique enough to make it up the mountain. Morgs was also very knowledgeable about each snow field and about New Zealand sites, history, and culture. All accommodation, transport, and some meals are provided on tour, so there is little to worry about while on tour besides perfecting the nutcracker technique. Overall, I would recommend this trip to any experienced skier or snowboarder who is in great physical shape and is willing to put in some work to discover some amazing powder.”
