New York Tours and Trips 2024/2025

New York City, NYC, The Big Apple, even Gotham — the list of epithets for the US's most populous city goes on. Aside from being a trade and finance capital, NYC is a centre for media — drive and ambition fuels this city. The opportunities that bring so many dreamers to New York have also created a unique fusion of culture, cuisine, art and fashion. With so much to see, experience and taste, it can sometimes feel impossible to fit everything in when travelling to New York because this is the city that never sleeps.

“Travelling with a group through the US simply great. A lot of cool people were in the group. Our guide made us all rock, and the itinerary made sure that we experienced a lot. It was almost tough coming home, that's how good the tour was. Never travelling solo again.”
Great tour with a fantastic guide

New York - Tour Highlights and Travel Tips

Travel Highlights

  • The Empire State Building is a must-see. An icon of the city skyline, head to the viewing deck for a breathtaking perspective.
  • The Metropolitan Museum of Art or ‘The Met’ houses one of the biggest art collections in the world.
  • The Rockefeller Center is the epitome of New York in Winter. The Christmas Tree, the ice rink, the shops. If you’re visiting for Christmas, this is the place to go.
  • Times Square is the image of New York broadcast around the world. While a tourist trap, it has to be seen.
  • Chinatown is an experience like no other; an attack on the senses that you won’t begrudge.
  • Brooklyn Bridge is another icon of New York, but it’s also crowded. Pulaski Bridge is lesser known and offers a great view of the NYC skyline.
  • The 9/11 memorial will be a sobering experience.

Travel Tips

  • To visit the Empire State Building, buy tickets online or arrive very early or late to avoid long queues. It open all year around (including holidays) from 8 am to 2 am.
  • Get a Metrocard and start using the subway.
  • Dress for the weather. Walking a lot is mandatory in New York and being prepared for the outdoors will pay off.
  • Foodies should head to Hell’s Kitchen and 9th Ave, just five minutes away from Times Square.
