“An incredible 2 week journey. People can describe India and Nepal until the sun goes down but you have to experience it to truly appreciate what they say. There are some early starts and long bus journeys but they are definitely worth it. The buses are quite comfortable (the roads aren't - but there's not much you can do about that!!) and the travel times flew by. The scenery outside was enough to while the time away. If not, sit at the front of the bus and watch what the driver has to deal with on the road - hilarious and slightly scary at the same time.

I would go again just to do the overnight train - an experience in itself !!”

“An exciting trip which includes all the highlights of Northern India and Nepal. There is a lot of travelling involved and quite a few very early mornings but it is all worth it to see all of the amazing sights!”

“Wonderful buildings, incredible Bhuddist traditions, lovely scenery, friendly people - a really peaceful, largely unspoilt and unique country - and a photographer's paradise. The only down side is the dangerous road from Wangdue to Gantey.”
