Samburu National Reserve is a rugged and semi-desert park located in Samburu district in the Rift Valley province of Kenya. The park neighbors the homes of the Samburu tribe of Kenya, a tribe known for their pastoral and nomadic way of life. In addition to this, Samburu is also one of the most beautiful national parks in Kenya and home to a host of wildlife, including African wild elephants, zebras and the Masai giraffes.
Join us on this three-day guided, safari trip and explore this national park. Along with wild animals, you will also encounter a variety of bird species, from blue-skinned Somali ostriches to big flocks of vividly plumaged and vulturine guinea fowls, pygmy falcons and martial eagles. Koris, Heuglin’s and buff-crested bustards and lots of weavers, shrikes, woodpeckers and flycatchers are also easily seen.
