This 9-Day Samburu, Sweetwaters, Nakuru and Maasai Mara is an all-inclusive tour with informative, friendly and professional guides.

You will be taken through the dramatic semi-arid scrub land of the Northern Frontier Region of Kenya. You will be able to view the sisal and pineapple plantations in Samburu. Then proceed to Sweetwaters tented camp in Laikipia which lies in the heart of the private ranch covering about 22,000 acres.

When you stay here you shall enjoy the wonderful views across the bush to the snow-capped peaks of the famous Mt. Kenya which is Kenya’s highest point rising to 16,900 feet above sea level.

Day 1 Nairobi 4 hours 3 Star Hotel

On your arrival after clearing customs and immigration formalities, you are transferred to a hotel situated in the city Centre.

Day 2 Samburu National Park 6 hours Eco lodge

You will be picked up from your hotel in Nairobi to take you through the dramatic semi-arid scrub land of the Northern frontier region of Kenya. You will be able to view the sisal and pineapple plantations en-route.

You will arrive just in time for lunch at Samburu safari lodge tented camp after checking in. Take an afternoon game drive in the park and view several animals including a third of Kenya’s giraffe species and the rare reticulated giraffe which is only found in the northern parks, gravy’s zebra, blue shanked Somali ostrich, beisa Oryx, vulture, and guinea fowls among others.

Meals and overnight stay are at the Samburu Game Lodge.

Day 3 Full Day Game drive at Samburu 8 hours Eco lodge

You will have a full day in Samburu with morning and evening game drives. After breakfast we will head out for a game drive and see many animals graze. This is a semi-arid park and has got lots of trees, water, and shades which entice wildlife.

You will also get to see the famous “Big Five”: lions, elephants, leopards, rhinos, buffaloes, and many more. Meals and overnight stay will be at the Samburu Game Lodge.

Day 4 Visitng Sweetwaters 5-6 hours Eco lodge

After breakfast, we drive to Sweetwaters Tented Camp which lies in the heart of a private ranch covering about 22,000 acres. You can enjoy the wonderful views across the bush to the snow-capped peaks of the famous Mt. Kenya that is Kenya’s highest point rising to 16,900 feet above sea level.

The camp overlooks a floodlit waterhole that presents visitors with an unforgettable opportunity to watch and photograph animals in their natural habitat.

You will also get the opportunity to visit the Sweetwaters Chimpanzee Sanctuary which lies on 200-acres, driving here take about 15 minutes from the camp. The main reason for the setup of this sanctuary was to take care of orphaned and abused chimps; it has a population of about 26 chimps.

Day 5 Lake Nakuru National Park 5-6 hours Eco lodge

Depart after breakfast and drive to Lake Nakuru National Park where you will be arriving in time for lunch at the LODGE. After lunch, enjoy an afternoon game drive at the park which is also one of the world's greatest ornithological spectacles.

Major geological upheavals creaated a series of lakes in Kenya's Rift Valley; Lake Nakuru is of the soda variety and when conditions are right up to two million lesser and greater flamingos feed around its shores.

Baboon Cliff is a well-known spot from which to view the dazzling fringe of pink around the lake's shores. Lake Nakuru was declared a national park in 1961 and it now covers an area of some 200 km² and is a Black & White rhino sanctuary. You have an excellent chance of seeing buffalo, Rothschild giraffe, White rhino and plenty of baboon and warthog, waterbuck and impala, lion & leopard.

Day 6 Maasai Mara Game reserve 6-7 hours

Depart Early in the morning at around 8 a.m. for Maasai Mara Game Reserve to arrive in time for lunch. Although not Kenya's largest park, Maasai Mara Game Reserve offers undoubtedly one of the best concentrations of wildlife in Africa.

This is the traditional land of the Maasai people, who are nomadic herders and opt for the traditional lifestyle. Habitats within this park include the forests along the banks of the Mara and Talek Rivers, savannah and acacia forests.

These habitats are home to a great variety of game including lion, leopard, cheetah, zebra, wildebeest (gnu), giraffe, buffalo, jackal, eland, gazelles, impala and elephant. This is the only place in Kenya where topi are common and you will see them standing sentinel on old termite mounds. Hippopotamuses and crocodiles are plentiful in the rivers and the bird life is also abundant (about 53 species of birds of prey alone have been recorded).

Overnight will be spent at the Mara Sarova Tented Camp.

Day 7 Two game drives at Maasai mara 8 hours Camping

Today you have two game drives an early morning game drive before breakfast and an afternoon game drive. The rest of your day is at leisure at the Camp to enjoy the amenities at your disposal.

Overnight will be spent at the tented camp.

Meals: Breakfast, lunch, dinner

Day 8 Two Game Drives at Maasai Mara 6 hours Camping

Today you have two game drives : an early morning game drive before breakfast and an afternoon game drive. The rest of your day is at leisure at the camp to enjoy the amenities at your disposal.

Overnight will be spent at the tented camp.

Meals: Bed, Breakfast, lunch, dinner

Day 9 Return to Nairobi 7 hours 3 Star Hotel

After breakfast an early morning breakfast you shall depart for Nairobi to arrive in time for lunch at the Carnivore Restaurant renowned for its variety of game meat, and then wait to catch your flight back home.
