The Great Wildebeest Migration, is one of the most fantastic natural phenomena in the world. Nowhere in the world is there a movement of animals as immense as the wildebeest migration, over three million animals migrate from Serengeti National Park in Tanzania to the greener pastures of Masai Mara National Reserve in Kenya.

Along with Kenya's Maasai Mara National Park, this affordable budget camping safari covers the leading parks in the Northern Tanzania circuit, including Tarangire National Park, Lake Manyara National Park, Serengeti National Park & the Ngorongoro Crater.

You will have the best safari experience in an affordable price.

Please refer to the itinerary section for day-by-day activities.
Day1 : Nairobi - Maasai Mara National Reserve

Pick up from your hotel at 0730 hrs. A safari briefing session with our tour consultant then drive to the Maasai Mara Game Reserve as you enjoy the scenic views of the Great Rift Valley.

Masai Mara game reserve is the northern part of the Serengeti, one of Kenya's most favored game-viewing areas. The reserve covers 700 square miles of magnificent wilderness. It is the Africa of the imagination; endless reaches of acacia-dotted grasslands studded with hazy hills.

Afternoon game drive as you trail the Big 5 and numerous plain game. Dinner and overnight stay at Mara Enchoro tented camp or Mara Sidai Camp or Maasai Manyatta camp Maasai Mara.

Day 2: Maasai Mara game reserve

Full day spent exploring the park in search of the Big Five. Morning and afternoon game drives are offered. Dinner and overnight stay at Enchoro tented camp or Mara Sidai Camp or Masai Manyatta Camp Maasai Mara.

The Mara offers wildlife in such variety and abundance that it is difficult to believe: over 450 species of animals have been recorded here. You will easily see lions, rhinos, hippos, crocodiles, giraffe, wildebeests, zebras, buffalo, warthogs, hyenas, jackals, wild dogs, buffalo, leopard, many kinds of antelopes and elephant.

It is in the Mara that perhaps the most spectacular event of the natural world takes place. This is the annual migration of millions of wildebeest and zebra from the Serengeti (Tanzania) in search of water and pasture. Following on their heels are the predators of the savanna- lion, cheetah, wild dog, jackal, hyena and vultures.

Day 3: Maasai Mara - Lake Nakuru National park

Depart the camp soon after breakfast and proceed to Lake Nakuru National park. Lunch at Lake Nakuru guest house then go for afternoon game drives at Lake Nakuru, a shallow alkaline lake in the Rift Valley, renowned for its spectacular flamingo population as one of the world's greatest ornithological spectacles.

Although Lake Nakuru is primarily a bird sanctuary, there are a considerable number of animals, such as zebra, elephant and gazelle.

This is also one of our best chances of seeing rhinos. Lake Nakuru National Park was the first place in Kenya selected as a rhino reserve. Here is one of the few places where we can see Rothschild's giraffes.

Dinner and overnight at Lake Nakuru guest house inside the park.

Day 4 : Lake Nakuru – Amboseli National Park

Day 5: Amboseli - Lake Manyara National Park

Early breakfast then go for a morning game drive. We drive into Tanzania via the Namanga border in the afternoon. We also pass through Arusha to Lake Manyara National park with lunch enroute. Regardless of the direction we approach Manyara from, the view is always fantastic.

We proceed to a campsite for dinner and overnight stay .

Day 6: Lake Manyara - Serengeti National Park
Morning game drive at Lake Manyara National park then proceed to Serengeti National Park. We continue the game viewing as we proceed to the campsite for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 7: Serengeti National Park

Elephants are relatively scarce and the few remaining black rhinoceros are restricted to the Moru Koppies area. Serengeti National Park also offers rewarding bird viewing with ostrich and kori bustard commonly found.

Day 8: Serengeti - Ngorongoro Crater
