The Lapland Wilderness Week tour starts and ends in Muonionalusta (rajamaa). The Lapland Wilderness Week tour is an explorer tour that takes 8 days taking you through Muonionalusta (rajamaa), Rajamaa and Muonionalusta (rajamaa) in Finland and Sweden. This is a guided small group tour that includes accommodation, transport, meals and others.

This winter adventure takes us to the heart of Lapland, some 200 km above the Arctic Circle, where nature is raw and powerful and deep endless forests and mighty rivers dominate the landscape. We base ourselves at Rajamaa, where the Malmström family have been welcoming guests since 1986. Situated on an island in the River Muonio between Sweden and Finland, the local village has only seven inhabitants two of which are our hosts for the week! Immersed in one of the most spectacular untamed wilderness areas Europe has to offer, we spend a week learning about the Sami culture and connecting with nature while trying a variety of activities including dogsledding, snowshoeing and forest skiing. Our trip culminates with a two-day expedition in the forest, where we stay overnight in a traditional log cabin and, with luck, enjoy the magical display of the Northern Lights.

“A good taste of a number of places in Italy, including Venice, Florence and Rome. The itinerary alternates between a day travelling and a free day in a city, and in my opinion this is a good balance. Travelling by rail in Italy was painless, and the hotels were all satisfactory (though the breakfasts in some of them left something to be desired).”

“The Tour De Mont Blanc offers some of the most stunning mountain scenery that you will find. Exodus have put together an approach to the Tour which is effective and achievable. This camping itinerary keeps you embedded in the "great outdoors" - it is a real break from home comforts, which helps increase the sense of wonder at your surroundings. Make no mistake - there are some tough days, both uphill and downhill. You owe it to yourself and to the other members of the trek to be fit and well prepared. If you are, it will be tiring but exhilarating. Go for it!”

“A splendid cycling trip that really benefited from being undertaken as part of a group and with a leader. The 'group' effect is good to keep you going when you may otherwise flag, and the leader, with extensive local knowledge, takes you places that you would otherwise never find.”
