We visited Tamarindo, Monteverde, La Fortuna, Arenal, Tortuguero, Puerto Viejo and San Jose. We were there in rainy season, and had private van transfers to each location. Oldemar, Pablo, and Oscar were especially amazing Costa Ricans, and we met countless others. We had dozens of transfers, adventure boat rides, excursions, day and night hikes, horseback rides to waterfalls, nature hikes, zip lines, hanging bridges, and a special late night trip to watch the giant sea turtles lay their eggs. They have between 3-6% of the worlds biodiversity - birds, snakes, frogs, monkeys, sloths, and so many more. Pay attention that the rainy season means it rains (sometimes HARD) and is very humid!
