Travel Tips
- While most of the countries in the Middle East are safe, it’s important to note that you should not venture into Yemen or Syria for security concerns.
- When traveling in many Middle Eastern countries you should be conscious about their dress codes. When in Dubai as an example, you should dress conservatively especially in religious sites. That includes long-sleeves and pants, as well as lose-fitting clothing for women (nothing revealing).
- Additional do’s and don’ts include: You should haggle at the bazaars, you should never be overly drunk in public, and try to refrain from any public displays of affection.
