Join us on this 8-day hike to travel through some of the most beautiful areas of Northern Italy. Start your journey from the famous spa town of Meran. Walk through vineyards and orchards, past historic castles and sparkling tarns. Visit idyllic places with some of the most wonderful views.

Travel along the Waale, ancient water channels, in Meran. Reach Lake Kaltern, take a ride on a train to the Mendel Pass and explore the high, airy plains of Paganella. Visit Cavedago, which is known for its famous triple-arched bridge.

Discover mountain villages with winding, narrow streets and idyllic stone houses in Trentino. Reach your final destination, Lake Garda, which lies in the middle of high cliffs and is enclosed by olive orchards, cypresses and fig trees. Enjoy your cappuccino and gelato on the shore of the dark blue lake.

Enjoy your journey through turquoise lakes, enormous plateaus, deep river valleys and canyons. The rugged peaks of the Dolomites range will accompany you on your way.

Travel along the Waale, through apple plantations, before arriving at an impressive waterfall. Soon your trail leads you through the hills of Tisens and up to the historic little church of St. Christoph. After hiking through a beautiful woodland with fantastic views of the Etsch Valley, you reach Nals, an idyllic little village in the middle of apple orchards and vineyards.

5 to 5.5 hours Hotel
Today, you can look forward to a fascinating hike on a trail full of castles. Walk from fortress to fortress. Admire the architecture of these massive buildings. Reach the region known for its natural phenomenon called ‘holes in the ice’, which gives you a chance to see icicles in mid-summer. Walk past the tower of St. George and many more vineyards and you will soon reach Lake Kaltern.

4.5 to 5 hours Hotel
Travel to the Mendel Pass by train. Enjoy the phenomenal view of the surrounding area from your train carriage. Walk over the plateau towards Nonstal, past deep canyons and through small, idyllic villages to the pilgrimage site of Saint Romedio. Move further, enjoying the views of two small, sparkling lakes and you will soon reach Coredo.

4.5 to 5.5 hours Hotel
After a short transfer, you can admire the impressive landscape of Nonstal as you begin walking along the way of St. James up to the airy high plain of the Paganella. The path leads through wide woodland areas up to Cavedago, known for its famous triple-arched bridge.

Hike through the wetland of a karst lake towards Andalo and then on to the village of Molveno, situated on the foot of the Brenta Dolomites near the mountain lake known by the name of the mountain range.

3 to 5 hours Hotel
Take a cable car Pradel-Molveno. Discover one of the most beautiful hiking routes in the region. Stop at a rifugio (mountain hut) and enjoy a typical Italian snack along with impressive views of the surrounding peaks.

Start your journey downhill towards the green tarn of Lago Nembia. Proceed to today’s final destination, Comano Terme, by bus, passing woodlands and hilly areas, meandering rivers and numerous villages on your way.

Walking distance: 15 km
3 to 4 hours Hostel
At the end of your hiking week, you walk through the untouched meadows of the Lomason Valley. Climb up to Rifugio Monte San Pietro and enjoy a stunning view of Lake Garda. Walk down through winding streets and archways, past stonewalls, to the castle of Tenno.

On the last few kilometres of your tour, you will walk through olive groves and Mediterranean cypress vegetation until you reach the goal of your hiking week, the shores of Lake Garda.
