The tour "Road Cycling Morocco: Atlas To Atlantic" starts from and ends in Marrakech. It is a bicycle trip that takes 11 days taking you through Essaouira, Marrakech and Tafraoute in Morocco. "Road Cycling Morocco: Atlas To Atlantic" is a guided small group tour that includes accommodation in hotels, meals and others.

From the climbs framed by snow-dusted peaks of the High Atlas to sweeping descents into palm-lined oases, this 10-day tour is for cyclists who love a good hill with an even better view. For cyclists who relish a ride that challenges and rewards in equal measure. Our Morocco: Mountains to Sea ride is all about the cols, the authentic culture, the camaraderie and of course, the epic scenery.

Arrive in lively and exotic Marrakesh and start things off by sampling two staples of this tour: views of the Atlas mountains in the distance, and renowned Moroccan hospitality at our traditional riad accommodation. The cycling begins just outside the city, in the foothills of the Atlas, to test the legs and get a feel for the terrain before climbing into the stunning High Atlas. Enjoy the fresh air, spectacular views, and authentic local culture and hospitality in the remote villages along the way.

Head further into Berber territory of the Lesser Atlas, as the landscape becomes drier and dotted with otherworldly rock formations, canyons, and hidden desert oases. Fantastic cycling awaits in the arid hills around Tafraout, Morocco's almond-growing regions, and paradisical valleys along the path to the Atlantic Coast. The climbs don't come easy, but the views, the experience, and the descents are worth it. Celebrate the journey in ancient Essaouira by the sea, before travelling back to Marrakesh for a final taste of Moroccan culture.

“Guide Toe Toe is a "very nice and lovely guide" indeed! Very knowledgeable and attentive as well. All in all, everything went really well, and we are very happy to have taken these two day trips to explore Mandalay.”

Andrea's review for another SpiceRoads tour
“Cycling Central Vietnam Coast was a great experience, and our fourth SpiceRoads tour. It was a wonderful mix of sights and experiences, enhanced by the excellent guiding skills of Lee and Anh. They clearly had great knowledge of their country and it's history, and were able to pass some of this on to us, giving us a greater insight into Vietnam. We'd highly recommend this tour and it's guides.

In terms of everything, except some of the accommodation, this was the best trip by far of the four we have made with SpiceRoads. We will always remember Cycling Southern Thailand's Beaches, because it was our first trip and the accommodation was excellent. Perhaps we were spoilt. But in all other respects, this trip ticked all the boxes and the guides Lee and Anh were supreme and great company. ”
