Start and end in Marmaris, the tour "Lycian Coast Cycle And Sail" is a guided bicycle trip that takes 8 days. You will travel through Fethiye, Sarsala Bay, Ekincik and 3 other destinations in Turkey. "Lycian Coast Cycle And Sail" is a group tour which includes accommodation, transport, meals and others.

Cycle and cruise the Lycian Coast between Bodrum and Fethiye. There are few coastlines which offer the appealing combination of sublime landscapes, rich cultural history and legacies from ancient civilisations found on Turkey's Lycian Coast. We spend a week discovering the coastline and backcountry between Bodrum and Fethiye with our three-masted motor yacht. Our charming and stylish vessel is built to the highest of standards. Accompanied by our guide you will discover the unique natural wonders and historical cities which grace the area. Admire the famous tombs of Dalyan, which were cut into the cliffs between 4 and 2 BC by the Lycian coastal inhabitants, and the spectacular Saklikent Canyon. Spend your evenings relaxing on board in the deserted bays or make the most of the nightlife in the port cities and their many cafes and bars.

Day 2 : Morning cruise, cycle from Körmen along the Datça peninsula to Knidos (42km/26mi)
Day 3 : Cruise to Boozburun Peninsula, Cycle from Serçe Limani to Çiftlik (49km/30mi)
Day 4 : Cycle via Lake Köycegiz to the Dalyan River, boat to Dalyan (31km/19mi)
Day 5 : Visit the ancient city of Kaunos, cycle via Dalaman to Sarsala (42km/26mi)
Day 6 : Cruise to Gemiler Bay, cycle via Kayaköy to Fethiye (33km/21mi)
Day 7 : Cycle from Cavdir via Saklikent Canyon to Kadiköy, transfer to Tlos and Göcek (27km/17mi)
Day 8 : Trip concludes in Göcek

WHAT'S INCLUDED

Accommodation

7 nights accommodation in a twin cabin with private bathroom on deluxe boat. Supplement applies for single cabin, or above deck cabin on select departures. If you are travelling by yourself you will be matched with another passenger. The spacious cabins are configured with a double bed or two lower beds.

Meals

7 breakfasts, 7 lunches or dinners* (does not include drinks) - meals are provided on a half board basis meaning that breakfast and either lunch or dinner is provided each day. Usually dinner is provided and lunch is free for you to sample a restaurant along the cycle route. The cook on board is a member of the crew and prepares the meals.

Guide

21 speed hybrid bike rental with pannier (electric bike available on request - supplement applies). The guides will carry bike locks for the group when cycling, or individual locks can be provided on request if you decide to bike alone (limited supply).
Experienced crew including English speaking cycle guide

Helmets - mandatory on all bike tours, you are encouraged to bring your own well-fitted helmet. A limited number of rental helmets are available on board (reservation essential), however we cannot guarantee their suitability.
Optional Bicycle insurance - payable in cash locally. EUR10 per person for hybrid bike, EUR20 per person for electric bike. Please note that normal travel insurance often does not cover loss or damage to rental bikes. If you do not take out bike insurance you will need to pay for the cost of the bike or repair of damages.
Travel insurance - mandatory *cruise cover may be required - check with your insurer
Tips for guide and crew
Return group transfers from the airport in Dalaman or Bodrum to the boat on arrival and departure days - reservation on request for an additional cost, ask our office for details
Our Turkish boat does not offer a Wifi connection. If you need to connect during the tour we recommend taking your portable electronic device to a cafe or bar in the harbour as free wifi is available almost everywhere on purchase of something to eat or drink.
