“I loved the whole trip, from the villages, Tibetan culture and scenery, the challenge of crossing Larkya Pass (5160m), all making this an excellent trek. The team looking after us did a fantastic job - we all stayed in good health - thanks so much to our experienced team - Juddha Rai, Rajan Rai, Lakpa, Pasang and all the rest of the assistants and porters. The Radisson Hotel in Kathmandu was also a great start and end point. Well done!”

“Thought the trip was brilliant - well resourced, great leadership from JT, really professional and friendly guides: Crossman, Makete, Edoardo, Lucia, Hans, Angela. JTs leadership including his motivation, preparation of us and medical/health knowledge and care was first class - can't speak highly enough of him and we even had a drink with him on his day off when he was back. Ilburu lodge was also great. The trip was a lot more challenging mentally and physically that I had ever imagined!! But starting to appreciate our journey more and more as days go by..which was hard after we completed the climb where I promised I would never trek again! The most special part of the trip was the journey and support of all of us together which creates a lifetime bond.”

“I urge anyone considering Peru to please book this particular trip itinerary with WE. A fascinating insight into a country that offers so much in terms of history, culture, landscape diversity and the breathtaking beauty of the Inca Trail. This trip surpassed all expectations. Huge golden sandy dunes; penguins of Ballestos Islands; regal colonial city of Arequipa; snow capped volcanoes; glacial mountains; rugged beauty of Colca Canyon and its soaring Condors; the unique Uros reed islands of Lake Titicaca; beautiful Taquilla Island where we had our homestay; vibrant Inca city of Cusco; breathtaking beauty of the Inca Trail ..and 5 wonderful travel guides. So much was packed into these 3 weeks and typical of WE it all ran like clockwork and we were looked after so well. An advantage of this itinerary is by the time you reach Cusco to hike the Inca Trail your body has had ample time to acclimatise. I would strongly consider visiting at this time of year..perhaps we were lucky but the weather was sunny, dry and comfortable and the Inca Trail was quiet.. Just do it! ..with World Expeditions!
